Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of Live.

The service

Live provides a streaming platform: ingest over WHIP or RTMP, replication to viewing servers, sub-second WebRTC delivery with HLS fallback, client portals, and real-time monitoring. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your organization's streaming operations.

Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for the actions of the users and clients you invite, and for keeping stream keys and credentials secure. Per-client access scopes exist so you can limit which streams each viewer can reach — use them.

Acceptable use

  • Don't use Live to ingest or broadcast unlawful content, or content you don't hold the rights to.
  • Don't attempt to access other tenants' streams or probe the platform's security.
  • Don't resell raw platform capacity or attempt to bypass per-client access controls.
  • Respect the bandwidth, storage, and concurrency limits associated with your account.

Availability & liability

We operate the platform with commercially reasonable care but provide it "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted availability. Viewing servers self-heal around failures, but live streaming depends on your encoder and network, which are outside our control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding a claim.

Ingest & connectivity

You're responsible for your encoder, its network access, and the content you push. Streams that exceed configured bitrate or fail to authenticate may be rejected or disconnected to protect the platform and other tenants.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. On deletion, your data is handled per the privacy policy.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes are announced in advance through the dashboard or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
